How do I access this website?

On the homepage, click on the 'Browse Catalogue Now', which will take you to the 'List Titles page'. You can click on the title of the eBook or the 'Preview' button. This will take you to the Table of Contents page which lists all the essays in that eBook. You can only access the Introduction page, Abstract pages and sample Resources for each essay.

How do I purchase an eBook?

You will need to create an account on the website before purchasing an eBook. A receipt will be sent to your email after you have purchased an eBook. All currency is in Australian dollars and the system only accepts VISA and MasterCard.

Where can I create an account?

Click on 'Sign Up' which is located on the top right corner and enter your details and clicked the submit button. Enter your username and password in the boxes where it says 'Login'.

After logging in, you can edit/view your details, view eBooks that you have bought and logged out.

How do I use this website after purchasing?

Once you have purchased an eBook and logged in, you have access to the eBook that you bought. Each eBook consists of a Table of Contents page, an Introduction page, the essays and Bibliography page. You can find these menus on the left-hand side.

Each essay has an author page which opens in a new window. You can close that window to go back to the essay. The number of pages for each essay is indicated above the header and at the bottom of the page. You can click on '<< Start', '< Prev', 'Next >', 'End >>' or any of the page number.

What are Resources?

Resources are extra media that support the individual essay and can be visual or interactive. The categories available in the resources are Photographs, Audio, Video, Interactive Assets, External Links, Popups and Mini-Essays. You can view these resources in the essay as you are reading it, by clicking on the underlined keyword or phrase.

What are the arrow symbols appearing throughout the essay?

When an arrow external link arrow appears, this link refers to an external website which will open in a new window. To report a broken link, please contact us on the Contact page.

What happens when you click on a resource?

A popup window will appear with more information to further support the main essay. There is a close and move button on the top right corner of the popup window. On the bottom right, you can resize the window. Scrollbars will automatically appear if the resource is bigger or wider than the popup window. You can open as many popup windows as you want but you have to close each one individually.

What is the purpose of the Resources showing on the right side?

These resources are available for you to click through anytime. The category title (Photographs, Audio, Video and Interactive Assets) is not clickable. If there are resources available in that category, they will be listed as bullet points. You can then click on the title or the 'More' button to see more titles.

How do I use the Bibliography page?

Each eBook has its own Bibliography page. The Bibliography page lists all the essays. Click on 'Show' or 'Hide' button to view all the bibliography for that essay. By default, it lists the bibliography for the Introduction page.

How do I do a search?

There is a search box available for the eBook that you purchased. The search box is located on the left side, after Bibliography. Keyword or phrase that is typed in the search box will be search throughout the essays in that particular eBook. The results are separated as Essay or Resources.

How can I be notified of forthcoming eBook?

You can tick the checkbox 'Subscribe to newsletter' in your Edit Details page when you are logged in. To unsubscribe, you can unchecked the box.

How can I make a suggestion/ feedback or report an issue?

Please go to the Contact page.

Can the eBook be printed?

No, the eBook can only be read online because it has an integrated structure.

How can I order a printed copy?

There is no printed copy. The eBook is all digitalized.
